There are two concert videos that have been difficult to come by in North
America, specifically Lansdowne Road (which
many say is their best performance on video to date) and
Live In London. They are now available from
a few retailers, and also on VCDs (video compact discs) which can be played
on some DVD players, laser disc players and computers. For further
information about these hard-to-find videos,
see below.
Note that most online video retailers don't have separate web pages for
the specific musical groups. Therefore most of the links below lead to
search pages and you will have to perform your own search the video titles
for "Corrs" within each retailer.
If you purchase a video in your own country, then it should have no
compatibility problems with your playback machine. However, one's home
country machines often cannot play videotapes and DVDs that are
purchased in other regions of the world . See the notes on compatibility
further below.

This page is maintained by Roger Burns of Washington, D.C.COMPATIBILITY: Unlike audio CDs which are all universal, video tapes and DVDs that are purchased in other regions of the world often cannot be played on one's home country playback machines. For example, videos from the USA and Britain cannot be played on the other country's machines. If you plan to purchase a video from a retailer that is outside of your own country, be sure that it is in a format that your video player can use.
What are the designated regions? For VHS videotapes, the NTSC format is used in most of the Americas (USA, Canada, Peru, etc.) except for some nations in the eastern part of South America and some French-speaking islands in the Lesser Antilles, and is used in Japan. The PAL format is used in Western Europe (except France), and in Poland, South Asia, Nigeria and South Africa. The SECAM format is used in France and many of its former colonies, and in the countries of the former Soviet Union, and Egypt and Iran.
DVDs have a different system. DVD Region 1 encoding is reserved for the USA and Canada. Region 2 is for Europe, Japan, the Middle East and South Africa. Region 3 is East Asia and Southeast Asia. Region 4 is Australia, New Zealand and Latin America. Region 5 is the former Soviet Union, South Asia and Africa. Region 6 is China.

All Corrs concert videos, including those that are hard to find, are available on Video Compact Discs (VCDs). VCDs can be played on some DVD players, some laser disc players and some computers. To be sure that they can be played on your machine, check your machine's manual and/or read some online FAQs:
Note: if you buy VCDs from non-North-American manufacturers (i.e. in PAL format) and play them on a North American VCD or DVD player (NTSC format), the top and bottom portions of the video images may be stripped away, but they will otherwise play normally. This problem usually does not occur if PAL VCDs are played on computer CD-ROMS.
